How a lesson goes

Four steps, in this order.

  1. How it works

    A plain explanation of what these tools are good at, where they go wrong, and why. No jargon and no hype.

    You see for yourself that an answer can sound confident and still be wrong, that the same question can give different answers, and that the tool knows nothing about your business unless you tell it. You come away knowing what to check before you trust an answer.

  2. Useful habits

    Not a hundred prompts. A small set of habits that make answers better right away, on any task.

    You practise each one on your own screen: tell it who you are, who the reader is and what good looks like; give it an example of your own writing or pricing; check names, figures and claims against your records; and know when to stop and do it by hand.

  3. Your real tasks

    You bring two or three things from your actual week: a quote, a tricky customer email, voice notes for a job summary, a long supplier document. You do the typing on your own screen, and we coach as you go.

    When an answer is off, you stop and work out why, then fix the request rather than patching the result. Checking the result is part of the lesson.

  4. Keep learning on your own

    You leave with short notes from the session: what you tried, what worked, and what to check next time.

    You also get a short list of next things to try alone, using the same habits on new jobs. The goal is that you need us less, not more.
